Apple iPad

by Peter Vatistas on January 27, 2010

Today Apple announced their latest bleeding-edge gadget to the world, the iPad (not the iSlate, iBook or iTablet – it’s the iPad).  For how cool the iPad actually is you would think they’d come up with a better name but I do like it better than the other ones I’ve come across over the last few weeks.  Regardless, I cannot wait to play with one of these.

I’m not sure I see this replacing the Nook or Kindle due to the screen type but we’ll see; I also can’t see many people carrying a Nook/Kindle and iPad + iPhone and so on…  The iPad just might give the e-readers a run for their money… we’ll see!

I can’t wait until someone blends an iPad like the blended the iPhone on YouTube.  That reminds me, remember all those stupid key scratching, box opening, dropping iPhone videos?  Please don’t tell me it’s happening again.  LOL
