Microsoft Sales Drop for the First Time in History

by Peter Vatistas on July 23, 2009

I am happy to say that Microsoft’s sales dropped 3.2 percent and their net profit dropped about 17 percent (to $14.57 billion). In the fourth quarter alone, Microsoft’s sales fell 17 percent to $13.1 billion, while their profits all the way down to 29 percent (a whopping $3.05 billion).

Personally I love seeing this. Steve Ballmer is a jag-off and it’s about time things come around and bite him in the ass. Seriously – this guy publicly knocks anything and everything that has real potential. The world’s jaw dropped when the iPhone was revealed, except for Steve Ballmer that is. He thought it was a pile of junk…

I definitely feel this is a good indicator of things to come. I don’t see businesses adopting Windows 7 that much more than they did Vista. Do you?

Gotta love looney Micro$oft zealots! :D!

I recognize the need to run Windoze in corporate environments because of the availabilty of applications….however….

The BEST platform to run Windoze IS virtualized on MAC and Linux (unless there is a REAL need for file IO such as data analysis and mining)

That’s all I have to say about that…and yes…Life IS like a box of chocolates….
