Centigon Solutions Inc. has recently launched a small collection of add-ins that leverages this SDK to provide rich functionality with point and click configuration. The most interesting is a Xcelsius GMaps Plugin that allows you to drag and drop a Google map directly into a dashboard.

Another add-in called the Xcelsius Background Builder, enables someone with no graphic design skills to create a visually stunning graphical interface.

The following example illustrates the power of Xcelsius with Centigon Solutions components: Centigon Solutions Plugin Component Demo

About Xcelsius:

Xcelsius 2008 is a development environment for creating Adobe Flash-based dashboards and presentations using Excel and web services as a data source.

Xcelsius is capable of generating sleek, highly interactive visuals that can be deployed to a web browser or on the desktop in PDF or PPT. The beauty of Xcelsius is that the entire point and click development process empowers non technical users to jump in and build applications using Excel as their data source. For those who are more technically savvy, Xcelsius 2008 includes an SDK that enables Flex developers to integrate and extend new functionality within the development environment.
